Abrams Books for Young Readers

Launched in 1999, Abrams Books for Young Readers is an imprint of Abrams Books. They publish picture books and illustrated nonfiction for preschool through middle-grade readers (about 50 per year). ABYFR is closed to unsolicited submissions.

We noticed a commitment to diverse books at ABFYR as well as a tendency toward high word counts--especially in nonfiction.
