Greenwillow Books

Greenwillow Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Publisher, was launched in 1974 by legendary children's book Editor Susan Hirschman. (Listen to a 2009 interview with Hirschman here.) She retired in 2001. Under the leadership of Virginia Duncan, Greenwillow continues to publish fiction and some nonfiction "stories for children of every age created by authors and artists whose work is full of honesty, emotion, and depth." They have a 35th anniversary blog that they don't seem to post on anymore and they are active on Twitter and Facebook. They do not accept unsolicited submissions.
